Apiar
Gen1.1 White Meridian
Gen1.1 White Meridian
Some watches are built around a specification. Others are built around a moment.
For the Gen1.1 White Meridian, Apiar looks at why watches matter in the first place. A promotion. A wedding. The birth of a child. A personal milestone. The moments we choose to carry with us.
At first glance, the White Meridian is softer and more refined, with a natural white mother-of-pearl dial that shifts with the light. Look closer and the story becomes personal.
Each customer piece features a bespoke laser-annealed caseback artwork, created from a date and location chosen by its owner.
The moon phase. The coordinates. The night sky.
A defining moment, captured in titanium.

Our Availability Commitment:
The Gen1.1 White Meridian is a true special edition and will not form part of our core unlimited collection. Limited to less than 10 watches, each customer piece is made to order and created around the collector’s chosen date and location.
This allows us to produce a bespoke laser-annealed caseback artwork for every owner, incorporating the moon phase, coordinates, and celestial details connected to their personal Meridian. As each watch is individually customised and manufactured to order, we will be working towards a 4 month delivery timeframe after the order has been placed. As each watch is bespoke made, we can not process refunds after manufacturing has started.
UK Customers
- For our UK customers, your purchase price will include UK VAT to be paid.
EU Customers
- For our EU customers, we've tweaked the pricing so that you won't get hit with UK VAT (20%) on your order. When it comes to these EU orders, we're doing things on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. Put simply, this means you'll need to handle the local duties and taxes before receiving your Gen1.1.
International Customers (Including USA)
- As for EU customers, you will not pay UK VAT (20%) on your order. Since all orders are shipped from the UK, there's a chance that import duties or taxes may come into play. With these international orders, we're using a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) setup. Put simply, this means that any remaining import duties, clearance fees, brokerage fees, or any other extra charges are the responsibility of the customer and will need to be settled upon delivery.

Iridescence By Nature
The dial of the Gen1.1 White Meridian is designed around natural variation rather than applied colour. Instead of a painted, plated, or anodised surface, White Meridian uses natural white mother-of-pearl. Each dial is cut and hand polished to reveal the material's own iridescence, allowing the surface to shift from soft white to flashes of blue, pink, green, and silver as the light moves across it. The effect creates a sense of depth that feels almost three-dimensional, despite the dial itself remaining flat. It softens the industrial architecture of the Gen1.1 case while introducing a natural, unique and almost celestial lustre.
Built Impossible
The Gen1.1 is made from grade 23 titanium, leading to a watch that’s incredibly light yet also strong. Zoom in on the lugs and you see the geometry that makes it possible. Fluid lines and impossible angles blend together to create a natural, organic frame, which acts as a strong cradle for the rest of the case.
Your White Meridian
Each Gen1.1 White Meridian customer piece is created around a date and location chosen by its owner. That could be a wedding, a birth, an anniversary, a personal achievement, or any moment that has become a reference point in their life. From those details, Apiar creates a bespoke celestial artwork for the closed titanium caseback. The design incorporates the coordinates of the chosen location, the moon phase from that date, and a constellation selected from the night sky associated with that place and day. Your bespoke artwork is then laser annealed into titanium, creating a watch as unique as your meridian moment.
Built British
The UK is full of amazing manufacturers. We have built a supply chain that means we build the bulk of our components at home – and assemble everything in the UK, too. Our first watches were around 75% British-made and the number is even higher today. We are working towards 100%.
Apex Additive Technologies
Apex prints our titanium cases using laser powder bed fusion, a process reserved for rockets and high performance automotive. If it’s good enough for NASA and Bugatti, it’s good enough for us. Together, we build geometries no traditional method could ever reach.
Silvey Engineering
Silvey uses advanced 5-axis CNC machining to transform our printed titanium into functioning watch cases, cutting waterproof sealing surfaces, press-fit grooves, and bezel interfaces to micron precision.
Bedford Dials
A family-run business with centuries of watchmaking heritage, Bedford Dials brings precision and tradition to every crystal. They pad print our numerals and markers on the underside of the sapphire, making the details appear to float above the dial. It’s subtle. Technical. And perfectly executed.
